From reading my book I want you to take away a lesson. It could be one you are currently dealing with or one you haven’t encountered yet. Either way, it’s a lesson learned. These poems come from hands-on life lessons and experiences. By sharing them I feel like I am fulfilling a purpose of saving someone. Whether it’s from a dark place or a simple mistake. I thank my experiences and battles because without my positive mindset and my faith in God I am unsure where I would’ve been. Always remember you think yourself into a dark place and sometimes it's ok. But don't stay in that dark place. You have to face your issues, problems, demons head on to get to the brighter side. You are never alone.
